In October 2019, Trinity Laban held a celebratory event at our Faculty of Music where we awarded prolific composer Steve Reich an Honorary Fellowship. The afternoon opened with a performance of Reich’s iconic three-movement work ‘Electric Counterpoint’ arranged for electric viola by Head of Strings Nic Pendlebury, and included an informal Q&A with students where Reich shared unique insight and advice.
